  Caution - AC is only in 1 bedroom. Walked out and rented alternative accommodation

  Location. Well Presented.

  Advertised as Air Conditioned. We applied the “Air Conditioned” filter when booking as it was last minute and the temperature was warm in London. Air conditioning is only in ONE bedroom. The main kitchen and 2nd bedroom are NOT air-conditioned. We arrived at 5pm and the apartment was incredibly hot. After two hours the temperature in the living areas and 2nd bedroom were still unbearable. The apartment is surrounded by buildings so opening windows on a hot night with limited breeze didn’t improve the situation. The host has provided 3 fans as an alternative! We reached out to the host who was surprised that we had assumed the 2nd bedroom and living areas would be air-conditioned. We did not stay and returned the keys at 7pm. We Left the accommodation in perfect condition and found alternative accommodation. The host has refused to provide any compensation. The host acknowledged in writing on several occasions that advertising the apartment as air conditioned without any description explaining only one bedroom is air conditioned is misleading. After numerous attempts the host refused to offer any compensation - defending the apartment as clean and well presented. We paid £550/night for 2 nights £1,100 in total. We asked Booking.com to assist. They agreed the advertising was misleading and noted another formal complaint regarding heat and air conditioning from a previous guest. Booking.com said they attempted to negotiate an outcome on our behalf but this outreach to the host was not successful. Booking.com provided compensation of £150. We are very disappointed with the misleading advertising of the property and very disappointed with the host managing this property.

  well presented, clean apartment with a fantastic location

  Location was fantastic for access to all of London. Apartment was well laid out and has everything you need for a short stay. Everything was really well cleaned and presented.

  The apartment is located on the third floor and states that there is a lift. This has not tired for the last 3 years and so it was a long climb after a full day of visiting London. The heating is really hot and does not give you the opportunity to turn it down or off. Found the beds extremely firm.

  Carry luggage up the stairs

  I liked the location for sightseeing. 2 bedrooms and the kitchen dining living area met our needs wonderfully.

  I did not like that the Lift/Elevator was out of order and we had to carry our luggage up 6 flights of stairs. I did not like the steps and floor tile in black. Didn’t notice there were steps at first almost fell. My sister almost tripped down the other steps too. I did not like not knowing a good address to give the cab driver to pick us up. I very much did not like having to add my license and other info into a second App, very suspicious. I did not like having to walk 1/2 a mile with our luggage to go get the keys.

  I would highly recommend this apartment.

  This apartment is fantastically situated, literally 2 minutes walk from Covent Garden. It is very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
