There is a separate suite at the far end of the house which will be very rarely occupied. This is a separate unit under the same roof but there are no shared spaces. Guests wills have exclusive use of the laundry room and the beach area at all times. This suite will be unoccupied for most of the year. It is likely to be occupied around Thanksgivng and from Christmas time until the first of the year. Please do not enter that fenced area.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.     Spacious. Clean. Convenient

    Location was great for us. Clean. Spacious. Amenities, kitchen amenities, wine and chocolate left.

    No dressers to put clothes. Towels haphazardly thrown in top of bedroom closets. Key box on door handle made it hard to operate door. No recycling bin inside but discovered outside bin when leaving. Trash receptical should have house number on it. A reception book with local info and restaurant recommendations would be nice.

    We enjoyed this nice little home and will come again if we are traveling in lower Michigan.

    Great view and location. Very quaint.

    If there was AC I wasn’t sure how to turn it on

    Cute and quaint lakehouse getaway

    Super cute and clean house on the lake. Our host Dan was very helpful and his property had everything we needed to be comfortable. We had a lot of fun paddle boarding on the lake! Can’t wait to visit again.

    The absolute WORST review I have ever made in my life!!

    Halfway through our stay all of the water in the house suddenly shut off . I called the owner and told him that all of the water suddenly shut off. After being on the phone with him a couple of times he agreed to refund me for this day because we had to up and leave unexpectedly at midnight because of the water shutting off.. Today I get a message saying that I intentionally shut the water off and therefore he is not going to issue me a refund. I replied “I can assure you no one turned the breaker off. We didn’t arrive at the property until after 6pm and the water was shut off around midnight. It caused for an extremely hectic night. There is nothing on the booking site that says it’s on a well or that I need to be a handy man while staying there. I am completely beside myself with these ridiculous accusations and I would never recommend this to anybody. If something breaks on the property, and you have to leave unexpectedly at midnight with two kids and a dog, the owner will confirm with you in writing that he is going to refund you and the next day it is ridiculous nonsense.
