Home from home stay: peaceful , comfortable in an excellent location.

Excellent peaceful location, plenty of private parking and easy walk to amenities in Coltishall. The barn is very spacious and comfortable, light and airy with everything provided to make it a home from home stay. The beds are very comfortable. The provision of toys and games for children is especially welcome and appreciated as was the welcome bottle of Prosecco, biscuits and crisps. Communication with the host was always clear and prompt. It is worth noting that there were people staying in the adjacent carriage; this was in no way an issue and our privacy, even though we used the outside to play with young children, was in no way impeded.

We had a great stay and would definitely return!

The barn was just as advertised and would love to return. Communication with Lauren was amazing and made everything so easy. The beds were extremely comfortable and barn itself catered for all. Our daughter loved all of the toys and books available which kept her entertained.

Welcoming & spacious barn in a brilliant location

Loads of space, fantastic location, so peaceful . We went to the beach, cycling and paddle boarding! Loved hearing the birds singing in the morning. The host was super responsive & made us feel so welcome.

negligence and lack of respect to paying guests

It was an immense disappointment to turn up to what looked okay from the outside but the reality was very different. however the drive up to it looks like a scrap yard. We unfortunately checked out 15 minutes later.

Just about everything here is a list kitchen dirty pile of crumbs in the toaster been there weeks, old water left in the kettle and coffee machine from who knows when. Oven trays rusty and dirty inside cupboards old utensils and not clean some of the furniture was delaminating table set for 6 people with multiple plates on it the same one as in the photo too lazy to put the stuff away Windows inside and out filthy bathroom shower had soap on the glass and black mould on the tiles mirror had splash marks on it a big hole in the bathroom wall plugged with a piece of wood Dead flies on the window sills bedroom - bedside tables absolutely thick of dust bedding looked dirty and dusty upstairs decked veranda obviously never been swept in weeks and outdoors furniture black and mouldy unusable The price was very expensive for a shoddy ramshackle place We are a couple in our 60’s who like clean well kept accommodation and are happy to pay but this was just a joke. The owner apologised and gave us our money back but it left us looking frantically for alternative accommodation not what you want when on holiday
