    Poorly maintained, unclean, with terrible connectivity and amenities.

    The location was really great.

    Unfortunately, this apartment was well below the standard we expected and felt neglected rather than properly maintained accommodation. The Wi-Fi was terrible and there was virtually no phone reception — we couldn’t even stream Netflix, let alone work from the apartment. Cleanliness was poor, with a dirty toilet, mould in the shower grout, stained kitchen towels, thick dust on the plants and an outdoor area that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. There were maintenance issues everywhere — a broken bathroom exhaust fan, damaged furniture, a non-working clock and a missing curtain in the second bedroom. The missing curtain meant zero privacy from the neighbours and bright light pouring in every morning. Even basic amenities were missing, including ice trays, cleaning products and a coffee machine. Overall, it felt like very little care or effort had been put into maintaining the property or making it comfortable for guests. Definitely not worth the price, and we wouldn’t stay again.

    Ideally located for Southern Cross station, Marvel Stadium and access to the tramways.

    The location was perfect for our needs.

    The mattresses were uncomfortable and the bathroom shower and the sofa needed deep cleaning.
