Cosy Cathedral Getaway
This spacious and bright home lived up to its advertising! Beautifully appointed and welcoming in its decor and furniture. Host Ben was available for questions online and very helpful as needed. We were worried about needing to check in early, and there were no promises, but all was ready when we arrived. Location was steps to Ripon Cathedral and the town centre and river, yet cosily tucked away at the end of a quiet street facing the cathedral cemetery, with doves cooing lullabies. Amenities in the kitchen, including laundry machines, worked perfectly, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all manner of dishes, baking ware, utensils, tea towels galore...! We wanted for nothing and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Ben, you are a great host, and High Saints is tops!
If windows were left open, midges flew in. The shower mat was a little slippery.

Clean, comfortable and had everything you could need — tea, coffee, biscuits, laundry bits, towels, toiletries, the lot. Beds are comfortable. 2 mins walk to town centre, Cathedral views, supermarket and Boots on the doorstep, plus a lovely little back garden to sit in. Ben was brilliant — great communication and lots of local tips. Quiet, central, and fully equipped. Highly recommend and we’re already looking to rebook!
