    Not what we expected

    Unfortunately we cannot rate the room as we decided not to stay.

    On arrival, no hosts around to welcome us, but we were able to enter the building, tried the phone number we were given, no reply . We were concerned that builder's, and other trades people were entering at will, we felt a little uncomfortable, probably wouldn't bother younger travellers but we are pensioners and it was not really what we expected. The host did call us after a while but we had decided to continue our journey.

    The room did the job but was very much a no frills experience

    Good car park Good shower/bathroom Quiet Reasonable size room

    No breakfast Small bin in room had not been emptied at start of my stay Host promised me room 8 but room was not available when I arrived. I was offered a similar room but for £10 extra per night. The fact that the room would not be available was not communicated to me in advance of my arrival nor was the extra £10 per night charge. This was very disappointing and did not give me a warm glow.

    Fish qnd chicken.bites are very fresh at peckish restaurant. Nice walking village

    Napalean restaurant is not good
