    Highly enjoyable and comfortable short break.

    Huge bedroom with very large bed and wonderful views over the countryside. Warm. Good setting for local walks, pubs, and getting to local places of interest. Ancient church within walking distance. The Woody Bay narrow gauge railway is only a few miles away. Very good wifi connection. Local community shop does excellent coffee and cakes.

    No mobile signal due to the situation.

    Room was very clean and comfortable and b’fasts and facilities were good for our needs.

    Breakfast was great, fresh fruit,bread and pastries each morning, plenty of cereal choices, yoghurt and preserves. Good location for where we wanted to go and great to be able to walk to local pub which served good food. It was also nice to have an outdoor seating area. We look forward to returning!

    As there was another guest in the other room felt we had to be quiet at b’fast time as the eating area was shared and we didn’t want to disturb the other guest.
