I was disappointed with the eating arrangements but otherwise fine. There are very limited options

Breakfast was fine and location was excellent for walking Speyside Way.

I didn't really like having to make reservations for dinner, though I can see the necessity. I very much disliked being seated solo at a barrel table with barrel as wide as the table top, forcing me to have to spread my legs WIDE to get close enough to the table to even eat. Dining is in same small room as the very noisy and crowded bar. There seemed to be plenty of comfortable seating in the breakfast area upstairs where the kitchen was apparently located anyway. There also appeared to be sufficient staff that reservations could allow for a few more people to be accommodated for each reserved seating time. As a through Speyside Way walker it was difficult to be sure just when I could get to dinner,.and I did reserve for breakfast, I couldn't do so until late afternoon and couldn't get a time slot as early as I wished.
