    Not the best place I’ve stayed

    The location was good for exploring the local area

    Beds weren’t very comfortable, lighting poor in some rooms, every floor board creaked horrendously.

    I can’t recommend this place highly enough

    We arrived at the property only ten minutes after booking it!!! It was definitely what you would call ‘last minute.’ I had expected we’d have to wait around a bit for the hosts to get it ready but it was ready when we got there- even the heating was on!!! We particularly loved the conservatory. We sat in there for an hour or two each morning soaking in the autumn sunshine. The beds were really comfy. Fantastic, large shower in the bathroom . The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils we needed. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Hosts were fantastic too. The location is excellent for visiting places like Beamish to the south and Holy Island to the north. Ashington Station is also nearby with direct links to Newcastle in under half an hour.

    Property was immaculate. Perfect location and close to amenities. Hosts were very friendly. Very quiet area. Highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.
