Disgusting and very dirty
The fridge was clean and the WiFi was reliable
Sadly this house does NOT match the photos, 3 of the pans that i went to use were dirty and rusty, there was food in the plug hole, thick cobwebs in the corners of several rooms, the pan cupboard was also dirty one of the mugs still had some water still in it, like it had been used and not cleaned, the electric hob and oven are both disgustingly dirty, the tea towel had marks on it and the toaster is dirty too. The bathroom was dreadful, the grout in the shower was orange, indicating dead skin cells and soap scum, it needed a good scrub with bleach the sink was chipped and toilet seat was loose and we were left 2 half used loo rolls. 1 bedroom had yellows stains on the sheet, the other looked like it had been slept in, and had black hairs in the bed, it was so bad we had to go and buy a new sheet and duvet from tesco. On the 2nd night the bed broke, I am not a big person and not long post knee replacement, this really hurt my knee and has set my recovery back, we then spent 30mins trying to repair the bed, the window in the front bedroom was so difficult to close, we didnt dare use it and the bedside lamp nearest the window didnt work and the shade was not secured there was dirt and dust under the bedside tables and under the bed, in both of the double rooms, there is no handrail on the staircase, the garden is so overgrown it couldn't be used, it advertises as dog friendly but, as it was full of sticky bud plants my 2 young dogs could not use it, the property is also situated down a steep set of about 20 steps, the last 4/5 have no hand rail, sadly, this was a dreadful experience and as it was for pur wedding anniversary it wasn't the peaceful and relaxing time away turned in to the opposite. This property really is NOT worth what the owner is asking and he also expected an extra £35 to be paid directly to him for the dogs
