  Lovely enjoyable stay.

  Lovely quiet in a beautiful location. Good position for access to main roads to reach all areas of the area, Very homely and was equipped with everything you needed.

  Disappointing stay / Not value for money.

  Disappointing stay with unresolved safety issues – Not value for money Pros: The exterior and general appearance of the house looks nice. Cons: Safety & Accessibility Issues: The toilet door is extremely difficult to open once closed, which resulted in my elderly mother getting trapped inside. Additionally, there is no light switch in the hallway, forcing us to use torches to safely navigate to the bathroom at night. Poor Sleep Quality: The mattresses and pillows are of a very low standard. The mattress springs dig into your back, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. It was so uncomfortable that my elderly mother had to sleep on the sofa. Host & Refund Policy: Due to the poor conditions, we could not finish our 3-night stay and checked out after the second night. The hosts refused to grant a refund for the final unused night. Lack of Hospitality: No welcome pack or basic information was left out for guests. For the high price paid, this property does not offer value for money, especially when local hotels are cheaper and include breakfast. Outdated Facilities: The shower relies on an immersion heater that was not turned on prior to our arrival, leaving us with cold water initially. The television is also standard and outdated, with no smart apps or modern streaming services. Final Verdict: We would not recommend this property, particularly for elderly guests, due to the safety hazards and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
