Unexpected fees, water damage with fire alarms, room smelled moldy
Location and set up
Extra charges, miscellaneous fees. A room a few doors down flooded. Alarm was going off mist of the day i to that evening

My stay was nice and eventful. It had quite the pros with some cons.
The staff was wonderful and kind. They responded quickly when an issue came up about one of the rooms tv not working. I liked that I could walk to the general store and that everything like stores or restaurants or nearby that I could just simply walk instead of drive. I really liked that I could also rent a bike and explore the mainland if I wanted. The scenery was beautiful despite the rainy weather.
I expected more of the room than what was described and what I paid for. The rooms were not the most clean, but decent. However, I was surprised that no hand soap was provided in the room. I did not like that there was no proper ventilation in the bathroom when taking warm/hot showers. The humidity would linger in the air which resulted in towels still being damp after the whole day. I was surprised as well that I had to pay additional money to eat breakfast if I wanted at the cafe and pay additional money if I wanted to access high speed internet.

The location, the staff, the convenience and the condition of the facilities
No microwave in the room or on the floor. The pricing of various items - I felt we were being nickele and dimed. And finally, the inconvenient restaurant hours.⁸
