The breakfast options were varied, with good food choices available in a spacious room. All the staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. The room decor and furniture were good and comfortable, and all areas were clean. There was a reasonably good partial view of Champlain Lake from our room windows on the highest floor. The fitness room had adequate, clean equipment and a small indoor pool was available. The hotel location was excellent, with easy, nearby access to various lake cruises, a Science Museum, and shore walking paths. Further, the hotel was a short distance from the pedestrian-only Church Street, which offers numerous eating places and interesting stores.
The TV system was not available for 2.5 days, and for the first half day, the TV system was not working as well as it should. This reduced our satisfaction with our stay. Also, the room had too few lighting devices with no lighting directly above the bed for reading purposes.
