    Not worth it for me for leisure and a needed break....

    Was local where I needed to be, staff helpful.

    I csnt believe a 4 star hilton hotel doesn’t provide dressing gowns especially as it has a spa. This prevented me from booking the spa and relaxing in my room which was the main reason I booked here. When I entered the room to settle in I was cold and could not for the life of me work out controls. Someone came up and did it for me though. Breakfast was pretty bad honestly. Foods not covered no lids and flies about food. Cheap ingredients, my son wouldn't even eat chocolate pancakes as he said it doesn’t taste of chocolate at all. Eggs were very liquid like, the wellness shots had dead flies in. For 200 odd a night I was disappointed. Also woke up with a back ache. Bed springs u can feel when u lay down. The place is seemingly clean but not really well maintained there is dust on surfaces and in restaurant there's dust on chairs. No menu was supplied in room to order room service and had to go down to the restaurant. Terrible views and not like other hiltons. I would rather have booked travel Lodge and gone out for breakfast. Fish and chips was good here though but extremely large portions I could have shared one plate and 21 pounds a plate.
