    Not bad, not great

    Overall a fine hotel in a good location. Room was clean, neat and tidy. Staff friendly and the rooftop bar is a nice bonus.

    There is no sound proofing whatsoever. You can hear the elevators going up and down, conversations in the hallway and doors slamming. The windows don’t have proper soundproofing either and staying in New York City this means you hear quite a bit of street noise. Lastly the bed needs replacement as it had a dip on one side.

    4 star hotel?? $4 mattress...

    Room size.

    The mattress and pillows were un-useable. My first night I was literally unable to sleep due to the worn mattress and springs. I bought an air mattress for my second night. The hotel had no mattress topper and its alternate pillows were only marginally better.
