  The property is spacious and located in a beautiful rural setting surrounded by greenery. These were the main positive aspects of our very short stay. I would also like to acknowledge that the male host was genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming.

  Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had expected. I am sharing this review respectfully and fairly, without any intention of harming the hosts or their business. I booked the entire villa at a considerable cost. I accidentally entered one guest instead of five when making the reservation. We arrived late in the evening as a family of five: myself and my four children. The male host was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated his efforts to make us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not experience the same warmth from the female host. From the moment we entered, we were given an overwhelming number of warnings and restrictions about the walls, furniture, and various parts of the property. We were even told not to shower in the upstairs bathroom because water might leak downstairs. I fully understand that this is a historic property and that it must be treated with care. However, the constant warnings made us feel uncomfortable and anxious rather than relaxed. Frankly, the number of instructions felt more appropriate to a place with extremely strict rules than to a holiday home where a family should feel welcome and at ease. The biggest problem was the heat inside the house and the absence of air conditioning. We opened the windows to get some fresh air, but numerous insects, including flying insects, entered the rooms. Several of my children have a strong fear of insects, and the situation became extremely distressing for them. They were unable to sleep properly throughout the night. By the following morning, less than 12 hours after arriving, we decided to leave, even though we had paid for a longer stay. I sent the host a very polite message thanking them for their hospitality and explaining why we had left. I explicitly stated that I was not demanding a refund and understood that the booking was non-refundable. I simply mentioned that any voluntary refund would be appreciated as a kind gesture.

  Schöner Aufenthalt mit Wohlfühlfaktor

  Ein wunderschönes renoviertes Haus, in dem man sich sofort zu Hause fühlt. Liebevoll eingerichtet mit bester Ausstattung im Detail. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

  Ruhe, saisonale Aktivitäten und traumhafte Aussicht auf Zürich & See in einem wunderschönen Haus

  Es handelt sich bei dem hist. Haus um ein ausgesprochen liebe- und äußerst geschmackvoll renoviertes Fachwerkhaus, knapp 12 km von Zürich entfernt und mit einem traumhaften Blick auf Stadt und See. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung auch für Ausflüge in andere Regionen der CH. Es ist eine sehr gelungene Kombination zw. Tradition und Moderne, hochwertige Ausstattung der Küche, Bäder, Schlafzimmer und des Wohnzimmers; sehr gute Betten und ausgesprochen zuvorkommende & hilfsbereite Vermieter und Nachbarn. Einfach nur zu empfehlen!!! Wir waren zu dritt da und haben Haus, Gegend und Ruhe genossen.

  Sehr freundliche Besitzerin und Nachbarn! Ein sehr schönes großes Haus ! Schon beim Aussteigen aus dem Auto vor dem Haus wurden die Augen ganz groß,weil man eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Zürichsee und Zürich hat! Beim reingehen war es schon mollig warm durch die Fußbodenheizung, das Ambiente und die Herzlichkeit! Die Lage ist ländlich und trotzdem zentral. Man konnte in alle Richtung alle unsere Ziele gut erreichen und trotzdem ruhige Spaziergänge vor Ort neben den Kühen und Ziegen genießen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen.Die Waschmaschine mit dem integrienten Trockner funktioniert hervorragend!Für Handtücher,Bettwäsche wurde auch gesorgt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Ein großer Kühlschrank mit einem großen Gefrierschrank, ein tolles Esszimmer mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Weide. Wenn die Sonne scheint, kann man toll auf der Terrasse oder dem Balkon sitzen und den Kaffee genießen.Sogar für den Kaffee ist nämlich auch gesorgt. Eine gefüllte Kaffeemaschine steht auch in der Küche. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Woche!
