    Avoid. The issues pile up. Ownership uninterested in guest experience

    Location was great, quick access to battle creek and surrounding areas.

    #1: Staff walked into our room, while we were in it, while there was a do not disturb sign hanging. This is basically unforgivable. #2: Couldn't call the front desk. Room phone always had front desk as "busy" #3: Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at any hotel of any price range. Literally would have to pay me to eat it again. Did I mention they charge you for it? #4: On top of #3, the first time I tried to have it, they required me to pay w/ CC instead of charging the room, and then I went to get it and they were dismantling the breakfast operation, AND they wouldn't refund me. They fixed this by comping the next day's breakfast, which lead to #3 #5: At least 50% of the TV channels didn't work, and many that did were choppy #6: Persistent odor of smoke / weed in the bathroom (I assume it was guests above or below us) #7: "Amenity fees" automatically charged. No idea what this is for. #8: Charging for the abominable breakfast option
