Good stay, small items need addressing
Staff was very friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was good and hot. Beds were very comfortable.
Unfortunately there was body hair found in the shower. Room carpeting needed cleaning as well as the upholstered furniture. Cobwebs on the inside of the door.

Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn in Holly Springs, North Carolina was disappointing. While there were some positive aspects to the experience, several issues occurred during my stay that ultimately left me with no desire to return. To start with the positives, the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant, and the lobby was beautiful and welcoming. The hotel appeared to be generally well maintained and reasonably clean upon arrival. However, I experienced several issues with the room and the overall stay. One of the first problems I encountered was with the bathtub. The water was not draining properly, causing the tub to fill with water while I was showering. Essentially, I was taking a bath and a shower at the same time. I contacted maintenance, and to their credit, they responded promptly and resolved the issue. Unfortunately, another concern occurred the following day when housekeeping serviced the room. The staff provided new towels and washcloths, which was appreciated, but they also took our personal washcloths that we had brought with us. Additionally, the beds appeared to have only been partially remade. More concerning was the fact that the sheets did not appear to have been changed. I know this because there was a noticeable stain on the sheets that had been there from the previous night, allowing me to recognize that the same sheets were still being used. Another unsettling incident occurred when the fire alarm went off during our stay, requiring everyone to evacuate the building. While I understand that fire alarms can happen for a variety of reasons and may not necessarily be within the hotel’s control, having to evacuate the building added to an already less-than-satisfactory experience. I want to acknowledge that the staff were generally nice and that maintenance responded quickly when contacted.
