Positive experiences, but some improvements clearly needed.
Overall my three day stay was fairly good. I was very happy with my room that was clean, comfortable and nicely equipped wirh mini fridge and microwave. I was also glad that there was a free airport shuttle, included a fairly simple breakfast, and coin operated washer/ dryer. I also very much liked that it was a short five minute walk to Doral Place with late opening hours for Ross, Marshall's and Home Stores aa well as a few restaurants. The surrounding area was very spacious and clean, and ubers were very responsive.
I was disaapointed that the shuttle took an hour to arrive after making the request, and that was on a Sunday afternoon with less traffic. I was also not happy to find out that the single elevator was not working on my arrival, and it had not been repaired when I departed three days later. While I managed well enough the three flights of steps a couple times each day, I was vsry disappointed that the hotel reception staff made no accommodation for the inconvenience and were not proactive in ensuring that I had help with my suitcase to my room on the third floor. In fact, I had to approach the shuttle driver myself, and was very grateful for his kind assistance or I am not sure what I would have done.To be fair I was offered a ground floor room at that point, but before I could decide in three minutes, I was told that it was already taken. It was an unfortunate first impression of your hotel
