    Lovely staff, great hotel

    The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ezra on the bar was lovely and deserves praise.

    Some of the furniture in the bar/restaurant was a little dirty and stained.

    Perfect stopover and excellent value for money when heading to Scotland or the Lake District.

    This hotel is perfect for a one-night stay on your way to the Lake District or Scotland. Great value for money, very friendly and efficient staff, and the breakfast—though strictly traditional British—is of excellent quality

    The breakfast could offer a bit more variety beyond traditional British options, which aren't really to my taste.
