Comfortable room for eventful weekend
The check in process was easy and I received breakfast vouchers I was t expecting. The room was convenient to elevator, bed was comfortable, all staff was nice and breakfast was AMAZING! Checkout was just as easy!
The bathroom shower could have been much cleaner but overall it was great

Hotel never responded to my request for modification of room size king/double. I called and spoke with Front Desk a few days before traveling. I was met with an educated lesson in their description of STANDARD room which display 2 beds on your website picture. It’s their discretion to assign your room size. I called back later to discuss other accommodations and was informed my room choice was granted to Double beds. Upon arrival at hotel, I was quickly greeted less with a welcome and more so with the clerk at Front Desk carefully educating me again on a STANDARD room; I was assigned a King room with an option of Roll A Way bed. When I mentioned my room had been confirmed as a DOUBLE by someone at their front desk prior to my travels. She again proceeded to educate me on a STANDARD and say our NOTES on file for your room says the manager changed it back to a King so they would not be overbooked and that clerk I had spoken to was not supposed to do. (Believe it or not that one clerk was the most helpful representative I encountered at this location my entire stay). Furthermore, when I modified my room choice via website; a message was sent to the hotel nearly 20 days in advance with no response. Is this what triggered their rude behavior? When asked to speak with a manger I was informed one was not there. My second night I hesitantly called from desk to ask for a late check out. The clerk explained late check out was only granted to IHG members and if I could provide my IHG membership # she could allow me until 12:30pm. I had never heard such a thing as I have previously stayed at this hotel with no issues or a need to provide my IHG membership info which I went ahead gave her. Although your website says nothing about IHG membership. A friend who was also staying there asked & received a 11:30 checkout, no request for an IHG membership # was even mentioned. The rollaway bed was old, squeaky and uncomfortable.
