    Run away from this Allen Holiday Inn.

    The property could be nice if there was attention to details

    My first clue that this was not going to be a good experience was the way we were greeted at check in. No “hello”, no “Welcome”, no smile. The TV did not work properly and we were told it was the cable providers problem so there was nothing they could do; the toilet continually stopped flushing; the duvet cover was dirty; coffee condiments packets were opened, A/C could not keep the room cool enough to sleep through the night. Very unsatisfactory condition of a Holiday Inn. In the cafe/bar, the refrigerated case was very dirty with food bits left all over the empty case. For two days, the case was never cleaned. Our complaints were left unanswered. I requested a partial refund from corporate but they never returned my call . Stay away from this Holiday Inn if you are expecting a nice place to stay.
