    The room was lovely and the location was great but the customer service, this time, was terrible.

    I loved that it was right next door to the Conference Centre that I needed to visit, and I loved that the parking was free. I liked that there was a restaurant on site, as well as a pool. The room was lovely and spacious.

    When I arrived, there were two people manning the front desk. They were engaged in a conversation on the computer, and both completely ignored me for five full minutes, without acknowledging me waiting for them (at all), and observing that I had my arms full of heavy luggage and carried items. This was frustrating and rude, and painted a very negative picture of the customer service available. Separately, I phoned down to the restaurant to ask whether I could order take-out for pickup, and the waitress who took my call said she would call me back in the room once she had finished some drink orders. She didn't call me back after 30 minutes, so I went down. I checked in with her, had a seat, and my order wasn't taken for over 25 minutes; then, my order was missed and forgotten for over 30 minutes after ordering. The restaurant was busy, so her unavailability was understandable, but I was still forgotten multiple times (when the other table who ordered at the same time received their food and finished (and paid) before mine had arrived.
