It was very close to the beach. The view was wonderful. The suite was decent and clean.
I reserved a suite for 3 nights. When we arrived for check in I was notified that the suite we reserved had a leak, so we were put in two rooms next door to each other. One room had sopping wet, stinking carpet likely from condensation from the air conditioner. The balcony railing was broken, which was discovered when my child leaned against it and it bowed outward. The room smelled like sewage, so we utilized one room. That room was fine and decently clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast we paid for wasnt great but edible. The elevators are dirty and smell bad. The floors are destroyed and not well cleaned. The doors make terrible noises as they open and close. Each ride felt like a gamble. The staff was unable to provide clear directions to our room, which was needed with the hotel set up. The pools were littered with debris and not cleaned out regularly. During the day time loud pop music is played at the main pool that can be heard throughout the hotel. On the second day I went to ask for the status of the suite we had reserved and was told rooms were being cleaned, which was confusing because was there a leak or had I been bumped from the room I reserved? The manager was behind the wall and didnt even bother to come speak with me. The second morning I woke to find vouchers for breakfast, for the breakfast I had already paid a stupid amount for. They would have known had they checked. So I was "gifted" something I had already paid for, for what? As an apology? I would have loved the location and the hotel overall had we been given the room I reserved to start, but I was not. Ill look for a different hotel next time, especially considering the cost of it all.
