Location was great. Right in the centre with lots going on in the square outside
The apartment felt a bit 'tired'. It looked like it had once been stylist but seemed a bit past its best. The once fancy old multi-jet spar-bath and shower was in disrepair with leaks and only partially operational- we could get a reasonable shower though

Great location and amenities, good electronic communication from the host, and well suited for Young and Family
The apartment is very well located in the historical shopping center and from the front door you can see the Roman Tower monument. It is directly across the street from museums and tourist information. The information center gave a great tour which I highly recommend., coffee maker, and pretty much everything needed. The host was very good about communicating electronically. The apartment seem to be designed. To the historical city,to the historical city,
The apartment seem to be better, suited to younger persons or a family. There are lots of stairs getting to the apartment and then between the split levels, so not recommended for elderly or handicapped. Furnishings were comfortable, but way too large for this space with a huge king size sofa, bed in the living room and another large overstuffed chair. Upstairs bedrooms also had very large beds with little leather furnishing, which made it hard to move around. The kitchen, which had everything we needed was great with the exception of the digital stovetop. As it is right next to the sink and coffee maker, just touching it, turned it on and we had to cover it up and not use it for space. Consider getting dials instead of digital.

Great apartment in the heart of Trier
Very clean apartment, has everything you need and is nicely decorated. It's in a very old, refurbished building, which adds to the charm. Location was great, right in the beginning of the pedestrian old town square, with all of its shopping and dining; easy to walk to the Dome and other main sights. Host was very nice and responsive. The view from the living room was great, right onto the Porta Nigra! I would stay again.
The lock on the apartment door was a bit tricky until you got the hang of it. A spiral staircase to climb, so no elevator. It was not noisy for us, we were there during the week, but it could be on the weekends, since it overlooks the square. The main bedroom faces to the back, so that helps with any noise. The second bedroom faces the square. Something to consider.
