It's seems like a safe neighborhood.
Very far from the city center. It's in a middle of nowhere. Surrounded by lots of trees and massive land with no stores in sight. You would have to drive about 40 minutes to actually reach a decent store to get food or necessities. It's close to the beach but that's pretty much it. As for the villa itself. All I have to say is that it's really old. There was a cockroach, the bed Lenin and pillow covers have stains on them. There was trash from the previous guest still in the kitchen. It's a three bedroom house. I booked 2 because we were traveling with 12 adults and 2 children. The two houses were quite far from each other. It's about an 8 minute walk. If it's not hot walking that distance would be fine, but it's Vietnam. Vietnam is insanely hot. I managed to walk at night when the buggy service didn't work because the sun was down. Speaking of the buggy service it was really bad. When I called the guy driving it said the buggy service is off but I clearly saw one driving by as I was walking. I was provided with 2 contacts for the buggy service. One did not reply at all and the other seems to not want to give me a ride. It's whatever, I walked that night. Thank goodness it was nighttime with a bit of wind. For the price I recommend people to book hotels in Mui Ne center. It's closer to the beach. Various beaches actually, not just one. Phan Thiet really doesn't have anything. The two places are about 30 minutes away from each other. I would say the only positive thing about this stay is it's a pretty safe neighborhood and the manager lady of this place was nice. But, it was still not worth the stay.
