Fantastic Stay
We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Holly Bush. As soon as we stepped into the pub, we received a warm greeting from the new owners and staff. The pub is at the heart of the community and welcomes a mix of both locals and guests, which makes it a special place to stay. Everyone seems relaxed and happy to chat to each other which makes for a really pleasant atmosphere. The chef is excellent and cooks a variety of dishes which he constantly updates. We were so impressed that we ate there every evening. There was a great choice of well kept local ales. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we slept well every night. Thanks for a lovely stay. A friendly little inn
Welcoming bar staff. Friendly locals. No food being served on the night of my visit but I’d been advised in advance. The room was great for me but I think would be small for two people

Wonderful
Holly bush is great. The evening meal was delicious proper Northumbrian fare. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Our only negative was that the breakfast took ages to come out, but guess we got them on a bad day.
