    Could not have been better for what we wanted.

    This was in a perfect position for visiting Alnwick. The Castle was 15 minutes walk and town centre only 10 minutes. Lots of pubs and restaurants. The coastline was close and we were recommended The Jolly Fisherman in Craster which was very nice and you could look out to see from the restaurant. it was about a 15/20 minute drive.

    A very pleasant and comfortable stay.

    George, Owner, was very thoughtfull in phoning us before we had arrived to ask how we were getting on as our train was running really late. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Excellent choice of cooked options , prepared to order. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay.

    There wasn't anything we didn't like during our stay.

    Holly Lodge was ideally situated for the places we had planned to visit and was good value for money

    Jackie and George were very friendly and helpful, providing very useful information about the local attractions. The accommodation was comfortable and extremely clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts served by the very courteous staff.
