    Disappointing.

    Great location.

    The garden untidy and not maintained. Dirty windows. Dangerous steps. No gate to secure garden. Dangerous broken wooden decking in riverside garden, and untidy grass area. Stained duvet. Missing lightbulbs. Dirty pans. Dirty fridge. Broken garden chair.

    Lovely but needs mooring repaired asap

    Location is beautiful and size of property is perfect for us. Particularly love the conservatory and quietness.

    The kids complained their beds were hard and uncomfortable. This is our second stay at Holly Lodge, disappointed to see the mooring has degraded further with multiple loose /snapped planks and loose wire. We did highlight issue to owners last visit.

    A relaxing few days in a tranquil location

    The absolutely exceptional views, peaceful location & being in a place of natural beauty.

    The slight downside is the fact that there is no vehicular access and so you have to use a luggage cart (supplied) to take your belongings and any shopping back and forth to the property.

    Nice peaceful and tranquil location. Short walk to the cottage, less than 3 minutes, which made the cottage even more secluded and private. Loving private garden and mooring, only down side was when the sun came out the trees shaded the garden so we went on the common next the the garden, which was lovely and sunny. Beds were so comfy, nice spacious accommodation. Nice homely feel, it's not modern and minimal so gave the extra comfort of feeling like a home away from home.
