  Unfortunately will not be returning due to the issues which I have raised.

  The property allowed our family of 9 plus our puppy retriever to be altogether and gave us our space. The house was very spacious but also gave of a cosy feeling and warm feeling. The children and puppy were able to let of steam. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms in main house, linen and towels very clean.

  The sauna did not work which was very disappointing. Very poor lighting in annex bathroom this room could not be used. Dirty dust cobwebs everywhere, especially in the lounge. Invaded by wasps and lots of wasps dead on the floor on arrival. No logs for the log burner but read in comment book from a previous guest where to buy logs. If this was the case then a note should have been left stating we had to buy logs. Some of the pots, pans and plates dirty, had to clean before using. Tried to contact hosts number of times but only got answer machine and to date have never received a call back, very poor. Fire pit was at the bottom of the garden but a lack of lighting made it dangerous to access the pit in the dark. No note advising where to find cushions for chairs on the decking. Trout pond was just a muddy puddle. The back left ring on the gas cooker did not work, plus bulb out on right side of the cooker hood. It was lovely for our family to be together but very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness, lack of contact with the hosts and some of the facilities not working or able to access.

  The place was beautiful for 10 pax. Living room was nice and the kitchen was large.

  The patio was very dirty and unmaintained. Could not use it at all it was dirty. The host has alot of requirements for us to clean up before checking out.

  Great for a girls weekend or family stay.

  Loved the river access, good size rooms and facilities. Did you know there were owls above the entrance ?

  There were conflicting instructions on laundry and really could do with removing references to Covid.

  Nice place to getaway from the busy city life.

  Great location and nice warm environment

  There were little things but no property can be perfect.
