    Sweet spot between shrines, comfort and, relaxing futons. Place was big enough for American standard, had to duck my head at 6 feet tall but no biggie. The garden was adorable. Food in the area is great, and just a short train ride from all the big shrines and even a couple nice shopping malls!

    Mosquitoes from neighbour planters, take a hit of bug spray before you head out for the day!

    It was a cosy house with an old home feeling to it, I liked the location and how immersive it felt.

    The host was very accommodating and when I had questions they got back very quickly. If I am ever in Kyoto again I will definitely stay there again.

    The stairs were a little steep and there weren't a lot of wall plugs. I few times I had trouble getting the heater to work but figured it out later on.
