    Exceptional

    Our memorable stay in Salzburg was made truly special by our wonderful host, Anita. She and her family met us when we arrived in Salzburg. Her place is walkable distance from the Central Salzburg Train Station. She handed us the keys, patiently walked us through the apartment, and explained everything. Anita had very thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with more than the basics necessities. For that alone, I would happily give Anita 11 out of 10! It may seem like a small thing, but these little comforts make such a difference, especially when you arrive on a hot summer afternoon. It felt like someone had genuinely thought about the comfort of their guests, rather than simply providing the bare minimum. Anita was also very helpful in sharing information about nearby places we wanted to visit. During our stay, I unfortunately developed an eye infection. As it was a Saturday, most medical providers were closed. Thankfully, Anita guided us to a pharmacy at the Central Train Station, where the pharmacist patiently assisted us and helped us. Anita and her family went well beyond what we would normally expect from a host. Salzburg was beautiful, but having such a caring host made the experience even more special. We would love to stay with them again and highly recommend their place. She has set the bar very high as a host.
