  Felt unsafe

  Great central location

  I stayed at this property in Bologna for four nights and while the location is fantastic, several issues made the experience stressful and uncomfortable. The entry instructions were extremely unclear and difficult to follow. There are multiple gates and doors to get through before reaching the apartment, and after passing the first gate I became trapped between the gate and the main front door. This caused a genuine anxiety attack. When I messaged the owner explaining what was happening, the response was dismissive and simply stated that the instructions had been provided, showing little empathy for the situation. Unfortunately, the access problems did not end there. On the third day of my stay, I was unable to open the apartment door and was locked out for approximately 45 minutes. I had already experienced difficulty opening the door on a previous occasion, but this time it would not open at all. To make sure it was not simply me using the key incorrectly, I asked a neighbour to try opening the door as well, and he was also unable to unlock it. I called the number displayed on the door, but the person who answered simply said, "No English." After contacting the host through Booking.com, I was eventually told that someone would come to assist. When they arrived, they pushed the door slightly, appeared to adjust the lock or door mechanism, and it immediately began working normally again. This confirmed there was an issue with the door rather than simply user error. What disappointed me most was the attitude when the issue was resolved. After I had spent 45 minutes locked out of the apartment, the person who attended was laughing. I told him I was glad he found it funny because I certainly did not. He replied that he was laughing because the door was opening now. I pointed out that the neighbour had witnessed the problem and could confirm the door had not been opening.

  Muy cómoda la habitación. A solo doscientos metros de la Piazza San Marco. Por las noches nos quedábamos en la plaza hasta las 23 hs. tomando unos spritz y escuchando las orquestas de los bares de la plaza
