  I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this location.

  The staff, location, and available amenities were great.

  The bed was less than ideal and the AC vent could only blow directly onto the bed.

  I liked everything about this hotel. It was clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. The pool was clean. I liked how there were 2 grills on the deck for grilling out. The room was big and spacious. Very cleaning comfy. I liked how plates, cups, and utensils were provided in the room.

  The only thing I did not like was how the bathroom door is a sliding door and did not lock. There was no privacy

  Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to formally complain about our recent stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Grovetown Augusta Area in Grovetown, Georgia. Our reservation was made through Booking.com, and the conditions we encountered at the property were extremely disappointing and included serious safety and cleanliness concerns. The most troubling issue involved the bathroom door in our room. The door was broken, extremely heavy, and not properly secured. It appeared capable of falling, creating a significant safety hazard. I was traveling with my two children, ages 9 and 13, which made this especially concerning. We immediately reported the problem to the hotel and were told there was no maintenance available because it was the weekend. Because I was genuinely concerned that the door could fall and seriously injure one of my children, my 13-year-old son and I ultimately had to work on the door ourselves to make the room safe. Guests should never be placed in a position where they have to perform repairs themselves because a hotel cannot address an immediate safety hazard. I have attached photographs documenting the damaged bathroom door. Unfortunately, the safety issue was not the only problem. We also encountered multiple roaches in our room. This was not a single isolated insect. We encountered multiple roaches during our stay, and I have attached photographs documenting them. The presence of multiple roaches raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and pest-control conditions of a property being offered to Booking.com customers. Compounding those concerns, housekeeping never visited our room during our stay. Between the multiple roaches and the absence of housekeeping service, the cleanliness and servicing of the room fell well below what I reasonably expected when making this reservation through Booking.com.
