  The location was incredible and the cottage was very cute. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the house was generally clean and welcoming. We appreciated the ability to stream to the TV in the evenings.

  The cottage was nice and the overall stay was pleasant, but for the price we did expect a bit more. The main issue was the state of the kitchen; it was well-stocked for the size, but the cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. were in noticably poor condition and the only cleaning supplies provided were hand soap and fairy liquid with a single, used sponge. There was only one small kitchen towel and a small cleaning cloth for our entire stay, both of which were damp on arrival, and we ran out of loo roll after one day and were unable to get hold of the host to ask for more. We ended up purchasing our own from the shop up the hill. The cottage was generally clean but it was evident that it had been cleaned in a hurry between guests. The TV did work, but the speakers were very old and made an unpleasant sound while we watched; we still had a nice time, but a few extra touches would have been appreciated.

  The location was great and in the heart of Port Isaac with the pub and pasty shop a few metres away !

  If you like clean and fresh this is not the place for you

  The property is in a good location. Very busy and in the centre of port Isaac.

  The property is not the same as the advertised photos. The two seater sofa is covered in stains. The level of cleanliness is just not acceptable for a holiday rental. On arrival we were greeted with a big black bag of rubbish hanging next to the front door covered in flies due to the heat. On entering the cottage it smelt of fish… not because it is on a harbour but because the cooker hadn’t been cleaned and the old bottle of cooking oil was next to it. If you like clean and fresh this is not the place for you… it is filthy. We had to clean the floors, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen worktop is black and mouldy, the fridge hadnt been cleaned. The hob top was so greasy. One morning I came down to the biggest slug on the kitchen wall it was traumatising. It was probably living under the worktop. The carpet in the bedroom and on the stairs are heavily stained. The chairs to the dining table are dirty. Such a shame for such a beautiful little cottage
