I would say it was very nicely decorated, it was clean. The staff of the counter was very nice and told us about the shuttle from the capital down to the state fair. We appreciated that. Only thing is I wish there would’ve been a bar and a restaurant on site. Otherwise it was very lovely

Perfect place to stay in Ankeny.
The breakfast was satisfying. The staff helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable for a long stay. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The business center was helpful. I was able to print a needed document.
The internet connection would drop occasionally.

Would not stay again.
It was close to the event we were attending.
sheet and bedding did not fit the bed; they were too small for the king bed. blanket was too small also. Made uncomfortable to sleep in. Room was supposed to non-smoking, smelled like smoke. at breakfast, the hot items were cold. The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable for our granddaughter. would not stay again.
