Wonderful home far from home
We stayed at this hotel for a month and a half, and it was a wonderful experience! The location is excellent. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area, yet close to downtown Princeton, the train station, major stores like Wegmans, Whole Foods, and Target, and conveniently located near Route 1, making it easy to get just about anywhere. There's also a lovely nature trail along the river nearby. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that included dishes, pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, full-size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Housekeeping came every two days, and we could always ask for anything we needed, including dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toiletries, and more. Breakfast was nice and fairly standard, and on Wednesday evenings, the hotel hosts a social hour with a light dinner, beer, and wine, which was a lovely bonus. There's also a clean and convenient laundry room. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Gail at the front desk was always there to answer our questions and help with anything we needed, always with a smile and a willingness to go the extra mile. Jarvis was just as wonderful. Wherever we ran into him, he was always happy to help or simply stop and ask how we were doing. And of course, they weren't the only ones. The entire team made us feel so welcome. After six weeks, it really felt like coming home rather than returning to a hotel. That feeling made all the difference. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommended!
