    Hidden gem with water level balcony onto the grande canal- at an affordable price

    This is a hidden gem. The location is to die for - it has a balcony at water level onto the grande canal. Host has a remarkable story of being an international fashion guru.

    A few of the services are old but that is because it’s in a grand old palazzo, ground floor

    Hidden hideaway in Venice

    It was in a nice quite area away from the crowds and vendors. The owner of the property, Karen, was very lovely and gave us good suggestions and tips for around Venice. We liked sitting out on the canal balcony and watch the sunrise.

    Only thing was the shower/bath had an odd smell but not enough to put us off.

    Great location but needs a lot of help

    The host was very communicative. She was friendly and met us at the dock. The place is harder to find than most and the water taxi driver was confused but she talked him through it on the phone.

    REALLY needs updating. There are old musty curtains hanging in there that have no purpose and a very large mirror without a frame precariously balanced right inside the door. I thought it would fall and shatter a few times. Very bad sewer smell from the bathroom. She suggested fish6ing the bidet but that did nothing. Frankly it was overwhelming on the last day. We had to leave the room.

    Absolute perfection

    This place is incredible. Right on the grand canal with a rare patio to sit outside. Well appointed. The hostess is kind enough to leave coffee and tea. The location is perfect. Many great restaurants close by. Vaporetto stops super close
