A simple, straightforward B&B with a lovely welcome and great breakfast

This B&B was in a useful location for us as we were hiking from Bath to Salisbury, and Dinton was not far off our route. It's run with warm efficiency by Corina, who was really lovely and great to chat to. I would recommend our room (number 4) because it has a very pleasant view over fields, and we enjoyed watching the antics of the pheasants! There was a sitting area that we didn't get round to using, but it looked like the sofas there were the sort you could sink into and struggle to get out of! Breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a slightly continental angle if you preferred (sliced meats and cheese) alongside freshly prepared fruit salad and the more usual toast etc.

Just be aware that Dinton is quite an out-of-the-way spot (for many, that will be an absolute positive!) and this B&B is very much on the edge of Dinton. If you're on foot like us, it's a bonus that there's a good pub that serves food, the Wyndham Arms, in the village but it's about 1.5 miles away from the B&B so takes about 25 minutes to walk to. Luckily there are pavements all the way along the main road.

    Nice

Very clean, modern bathroom, very nice hosts and a very good breakfast.

When you turn the tap on in the bathroom it sprays straight over the sink right into your crutch area making look like you had wet yourself
