The location is excellent as it is central to numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and nearby the subway. You can enjoy a peaceful morning stroll around the neighborhood before the workday starts and come back to apartment before exploring Seoul. The instructions for trash separating were clear and easy to follow. The private terrace is the perfect place to relax after a day out with your group as you enjoy the breeze and neighborhood sounds.
I would recommend having a set of instructions for the washer and dryer as the panel was in hangul. It did not negatively affect my stay as the host quickly responded to my request for help. Also, it would be nice to have a blackout curtain hanging between the bedroom and the washer/dryer space as it gets bright quickly in the morning and interferes with sleeping.

Ideal headquarters for your visit to Seoul
The apartment is in a nice quiet area of Hongdae, nearby lots of restaurants and cafes but outside the craziness of Hongdae Walking Street. Being so close to the Circle Metro line (that connects to every other metro line) made exploring Seoul a breeze. We ate at several great restaurants just a few blocks from the apartment and used the kitchen to make breakfast. The host was stellar-providing detailed check in instructions (including pictures) and went above and beyond, offering suggestions when we had a family emergency to attend to. The apartment worked out perfectly for a couple travelling with our adult child. Really convenient having a full-sized washer and dryer. Roof deck was a nice bonus-great place to end the day!
The apartment really takes advantage of all the space of the unit with loft areas but a little tricky to find everything (even though most cabinets and light switched are helpfully labelled)--we were there a full day before we realized where the door to the roof deck was (its at the end of one of the lofts).

Fantastic location and wonderful host!
Convenient location, close to both the bus stop and location. Very clean and as advertised on the listing. Host communication was great, and they were very helpful and accommodating.
