Authentic dutch countryside experience.
The owners are super friendly and kind. They even let our kids play with different toys in the farm and make us found some board games in the house. The house is tiny but incredibly fully equipped! The location is superb: 360º view of dutch countryside! The cycle path is right out of the gate and, without moving the car, led us easily to Delft, Gouda, Leiden, Rotterdam, Den Haag. We would love to go back!
Everything worked out very well because we’re used to travel and adapt so we arranged to let less daylight pass through the windows. It’s part of the experience of living in a country with much more daylight hours than ours but I would suggest darker curtains :)

This is a nice cottage on a dairy farm. A bit of a distance to any kind of services
First the description is that it is a one bedroom cabin. In fact it is a one room cabin. There is no bedroom the bunks are in the one and only room. It wasn’t clear that the coffee was available in another building. There’s a coffee pot, but no filters!!

A perfect place for peace and quiet.
The peace and tranquility of staying on a farm in the countryside where the cows don't moo much and with the quietest tractor in history. We enjoyed the walks along the canals, the laid back atmosphere, cycling with the family, spotting wildlife and windmills. The Hayloft was set out really nicely, with everything that was needed for our stay. Being able to sit outside for breakfast was a plus. Our hosts were always there to help if needed and through them we were able to hire bicycles for a day. Thank you Yvonne and family.
