  L'hôtel Hooly Nubian est situé sur l'île éléphantine avec une vue magnifique. Le 1er transfert en bâteau est compris dans le prix. Le petit déjeuner est traditionnel sans être extraordinaire et les chambres sont simples et propres. La guest house propose des activités comme le kayak et le personnel est souriant et attentionné.

  manque de grandes serviettes et d'un drap de dessus, pas de bouteilles d'eau fournis et de jus de fruit au petit déjeuner.

  La chambre était spacieuse et propre, salle de bain également, terrasse des chambres très sympa, belle vue, le kayak très bien

  Organisation parfois un peu compliqué avec le personnel, pas les mêmes prix entre la personne que j’ai par message et la personne qui est à l’hôtel, il dit offrir le kayak puis fait payer, ne prévient pas des frais par carte banquière, nous avons préféré faire la majorité des activité par nous même

  Φιλόξενη και οικογενειακή διαμονή σε υπέροχο και ήσυχο περιβάλλον

  Ωραία θέα , μπαλκόνι , το δωμάτιο έχει στοιχειώδη παροχές

  Δεν υπήρχε καθρέπτης αλλά φρόντισαν να σε εξυπηρετήσουν , το προσωπικό ήταν απολύτως φιλικό

  Bad in all the wrong ways

  I was the only person in the hotel, which is ok but the problem is that I order breakfast and no one was around. Couldn’t even get water as I was literally left by myself in the guesthouse. I contacted the managers many times and never responded. The room was super dirty. I had to clean and even wash my own sheets (that’s how dirty it was) I only like the view of the Nile from the room

  It was really bad experience, I was not taken care of. No breakfast for 2 days eve when I confirmed it over the night before, first time I thought they didn’t understand but the second time it was the same and they just didn’t care about me at all. Room was dirty, I had to use a mop and clean the bathroom and room

  Enjoyable Stay Along the Nile

  I spent two nights at hooly nubian during a 12 day trip to Egypt, and really enjoyed the change of pace that Elephantine Island offered after the busyness of Cairo and being bombarded by person after person looking to squeeze some money out of me in Luxor. The facility is simple but clean and comfortable, and the setting along the Nile River is lovely. My second evening, I rented a kayak from hooly nubian to go out on the river around sunset, and that was one of the more peaceful moments I had during my time in Egypt. Would highly recommend that if the loud boat cruises aren't your thing. I had a room that opened onto a balcony of sorts overlooking the Nile, and that was a nice place to spend a little while after sunset in the cool of the evening. Ahmed responded quickly on Whatsapp and was helpful in arranging shared transportation to Abu Simbel, and the boat to take me back to the mainland on my departure day was on time. He also provided some other recommendations, which were appreciated. I thought hooly nubian was a pretty good value for the price and can recommend it for a stay of a few days. I wasn't sure how I would feel about needing to take a boat ride to get anywhere, but that ended up being only a pretty minor inconvenience and being in a beautiful and peaceful location was worth it.
