    The cottage is situated in a really quiet and scenic village. We had the opportunity to explore around Chittlehampton; visited Church of St Hieritha and walked around its grounds; there is also a kids play park very close to the cottage . We loved how cosy the house was, the host's welcome gift of a lemon drizzle cake went down a treat with our children and the adults. The hosts were very helpful with the information they provided. We were also able to plan some of our outing using their leaflet of the different areas to visit in North Devon

    A perfect get away from busy life

    The cottage was exceptional, well equipped and clean, spacious and full of character. A beautiful home from home

    This was our third visit. The cottage is really comfortable and beautifully decorated. It's as nice as being at home! It has everything needed either to lounge about or self cater, along with a great utility room if you were walking in bad weather. Can't fault it.

    There is no specific parking but have never been unable to park in the square 50 yards away so I have no complaints at all.

    Beautiful and full of character

    Attention to details, spotless and lovely decorated. The cottage has everything you need and is perfect for a relaxing countryside getaway. The lovely local pub is 2 minutes away and serves amazing food. The host is really nice and responsive. Highly recommended !!

    Beautiful cosy cottage, can't recommend it highly enough

    Beautiful, cosy, well-equipped cottage in a pretty mid-Devon village. Very helpful hosts and lots of thoughtful touches in the cottage.
