Location convienient
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Our stay was extremely disappointing, with multiple issues that made it difficult to rest and enjoy our time there. The air conditioner took approximately 8 hours to cool the room down. It was extremely hot and humid!We were shown two other rooms, but both had the same problem with the air conditioning. On top of that, the shower did not work at all, which we discovered in the evening and the bed was broken, with one side not properly secured. In addition, it made a lot of noise, making it almost impossible to sleep comfortably. We tried calling the owner about these problems at 8pm, but there was no answer and no one ever called us back, athough we previously received very prompt responses when we wanted to purchase tours and transfers. We also discovered that there was no one at reception after 6 p.m., which is very concerning. In case of an emergency, it would be impossible to find anyone to assist guests. No number to call!! The following day, I contacted the owner to explain the issues and request that they be resolved, along with a discount to compensate for the poor experience. Unfortunately, I received no response. Instead, the receptionist told us that the owner had said we could leave if we didn't like it. The shower and the bed were fixed in the afternoon of our 2nd day. This attitude toward paying guests is unacceptable. The problems with the room were serious, and the lack of communication, assistance, and willingness to resolve the situation made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this hotel. Basic amenities should work, guests should be able to sleep comfortably, and management should be available and willing to address legitimate complaints. Sadly, none of these expectations were met during our stay.

nice hotel with great breakfast and good location
very good location on the main „street“ of tortuguero. close to the nationalpark entrance. very good breakfast.
