    Good overall

    Location & quiet.

Unable to open attic windows, so stuffy and would expect very hot in summer. A few cobwebs around, probably to be expected with an older property.

Fabulous location, really cosy cottage with everything we needed for our stay! We would definitely stay here again. Excellent access to both north and south bay. Decor and furnished really nicely - felt like a home away from home. We could hear the open air theatre one evening so we enjoyed listening the the streets performing from the comfort of the cottage garden, which was a very cool plus point. Nice and quiet spot, tucked away from the hussle and bussle of the town but just a short stroll down to the sea front. We really enjoyed staying here.

Everything was hygienic - however for the price per night i would have expected a little more attention to detail with the cleaning. The skirting boards and tops of the sash windows were very dusty and seemed like quite an accumitlation so not sure when these areas were last given some love... like i say - everything was to a hygienic standard in terms of the bathrooms and kitchen being lovely and clean and beds, bed linen and towels provided were all lovely and clean. Just a bit if attention and dusting needed - wasnt pleasant going to open the window and having fingers covered in dust.

A delightful 3 nights stay in a beautiful costal cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage in the old part of Scarborough town, near the castle and St Mary's church. It is a hilly area so be aware of steep hills. The cottage was clean and spacious, the bathroom is huge and the cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. the kitchen had everything you need. the main bedroom is large with a sea view and there is a spacious attic room with two twin beds. It was a pleasure to stay here for 3 nights and will be booking again in the future. The host company was easy to contact and kept in touch. There is an app for the cottage which we found very helpful.

The windows overall were hard to open and we arrived during the UK's fourth heatwave. In fact the attic room windows would not open and eventually one opened but had to be propped open by a piece of wood so it would not fall back down. It was a very hot room. We could not get the bathroom windows open at all throughout our 3 day stay. Nothing else to complain about.
