    It was our first time in Whitby and had no idea about the difficulty of driving around and finding a car park! Then when

    Great location right in the centre of town. Quaint alleyway and view over the rooftops. I loved that it was a centuries old fishing cottage.

    It looked a bit tired, and didn’t feel entirely clean. (Some mugs, fridge and floor rug in particular.) Shower could use a facelift.

    Great location

    Position is ideal brilliant view from top bedroom can see the abbey and church and a lot of the steps leading upto Abbey. Bedrooms where exceptionly clean and tidy double bed very comfortable overall was clean and tidy.

    The shower was a little dirty especially the drain and some of the grout needs cleaning. Toilet handle broke needs fixing or replacing.

    The cottage was in an excellent location and was well equipped for a self catering stay.

    Very low ceilings so beware if you are very tall.
