    It was relaxing, comfortable and very pleasant.

    Location was excellent, we could walk everywhere in Carlisle

    The freezer was over-frosted (only this issue)

    Beautiful house, great location and lots of room.

    The location was great, so close the city centre and lots of great restaurants. The rooms were all spacious with lovely en-suites. It’s beautifully decorated and the beds were all comfortable. There were plenty of dishes and lots of glassware. The hot tub was great, secluded and well maintained.

    The parking was very tight - the access to the drive is via the lane and it is tough to get large-ish cars manoeuvred into the drive.

    Beautiful Comfortable Townhouse

    A beautiful house and comfortable stay. Well equipped and hot tub a bonus

    Some road traffic noise if you're sleeping at the front of the house. No prosecco glasses provided.

    Location close to centre Characterful period property All bedrooms had ensuites

    Overemphasis on rules didn’t make it feel welcoming eg page of rules regarding using the gardens in the square, numerous notices to keep shoes off carpets A bit dark and dingy indoors- poor lighting in some bedrooms Hard to find some items eg potato peeler ( was there one?)

    Would have loved to have found the steam room.

    Inner door lock needs secured.
