  I would not choose to stay with host and stay again and I would not recommend them either.

  Location

  Cleanliness was very poor .there was a wet patch on downstairs bed and bedding which we tried to get resolved but still in dealings with host and stay about our complaint. Food cupboards still had previous vendors items in. Used and dirty tissues left in bedside drawer. Not enough hand towels left for three guests. Had to hoover the whole house just after arriving due to dust and cobwebs in numerous places. Some crockery was still dirty and glasses had food bits stuck to them. Absolutely no room at all to store our own food stuffs that we had bought with us. Kitchen cupboard space was non existent! .We contacted host and stay about wet patch on bed so we ended up putting sheets in dryer so we could use bed that night, they were suppose to be coming next day to change all bed linen and leave extra hand towels as requested but it looks like they had only changed quilt cover and had not even left us the extra towel requested. Too many stairs up to the property.and the parking space was difficult to get in and out of so we didn’t use the car in the end as we used the buses.communication between us and host and stay was poor and we have raised our complaint with them about all the issues but it is still ongoing and has not been resolved yet. It is now 1 month after our stay and we are no nearer to an apology or the situation being resolved. I would not choose host and stay again as we felt we were just left to deal with all the issues ourselves.

  Lovely stay but, the property needs some attention.

  Great location

  The property could definitely do with some TLC. A good clean and a lick of paint. Could go with towel rails in the bathrooms as there is nowhere to hang your towels. It definitely needs a grab rail over the bath, unfortunately one of our guests slipped and fell when getting out of the shower. Would also be a good idea to warn guests how tight the parking is!

  A clean, light and airy property over three floors ideal for traveling with friends.

  The property is near the railway station, a coop and the harbour. Also close to Tourist Information and many cafe/restaurants. It was very clean and well equipped.ideal for families or a group of friends.

  The two double rooms were very comfortable, the single beds mattress was uncomfortable, we will let the host know so they can consider changing it. We were not expecting so many steps up to the property’s front door, two of our party have mobility issues so the many steps made it difficult (approximately 20 to get to the front door). The bathrooms have no hooks or anywhere to store toiletries or clothes, sharing the space with others made this a little difficult.

  Good location, quite comfy, much smaller than photos show

  Short walk to the centre and parking ion site

  The 63 steps to living room and could do with. Splash of painted.
