    Lowcross Cottage stay

    Liked the layout of the property and peacefulness of the location. Plenty to do within a short distance.

    The shower floor never completely dried out which caused a stale smell to linger in the bathroom.

    Lowcross Cottage is attractive, spacious, well appointed and maintained.

    However, there are a number of shortcomings in the kitchen that detract from the overall high quality of the accommodation, namely; a: the oven is very dirty and quite worn b: the pots and pans need a thorough cleaning c: as the cutlery and glass ware has been lost or broken over time it has been replaced by none matching items so that complete sets no longer exist. They need to be replaced with completely new sets as this would much improve the visitor experience at meal times. Toiletries in the shower room would have been appreciated. (As has been the case in most of the other self-catering accommodation in which we have stayed).

    We love coming here but it been un clean every time let’s it go so much I think it puts a toll on your stay and makes u

    The property is nice and has just enough for your stay

    - only gave us half a toilet roll for 4 nights, we had to go and buy more and more hand wash and other bits like that as they were all empty - really unclean, floor was covered in mud, dog hair, crumbs - dirty plates and utensils were put back - floor of shower was yellow so not cleaned - hairs in bed and all over sofa - mud marks on spare bedroom door
