    Spotlessly clean, well equipped ground floor apartment with a shared outside space in a great location

    The property was spotlessly clean & well equipped in a great location - 3mins to beach!

    Didn’t read the reviews prior so was unaware it was an apartment rather than a house with a shared courtyard. I wouldn’t have a chosen this property had I known - just our preference. Also we had a few issues with the boiler, were left 1 toilet roll & no complimentary toiletries.

    Nice flat in a good quiet location we enjoyed staying.

    I liked the furniture and fittings. The flat was clean and comfortable. It was good value. Thoughtfully presented and short stroll to the beach. Nice location.

    Small details but quite inconvenient. No hand towel or hand soap in kitchen. One toilet roll , one tiny bar of soap, one small body wash sachet. Not enough for four people over four days. A bit mean.

    The location and the Retreat was excellent. The bedrooms were adequate for the short stay.

    The combination boiler proved faulty. It gave very hot water and overnight it didn't heat up on demand. I contacted the maintenance manager and a temporary solution was achieved (I refilled the water system). All's well that ends well.

    Lovely place, perfect for a couple.

    Comfortable place and plenty of facilities. lovely place to stay for a few days. would be great for a winter visit with out the dog.

    Main bed a bit soft but that's a personal choice. Shared garden which was not highlighted or obvious when staying especially with a dog and not wanting to encroach into the other persons garden area. no openable windows in the main bedroom at night (patio doors only) meant it was very warm, but again that's due to the heat at the time.
